And, we’re off!

I received my first printing of 100 books! Because I neglected to get my Library of Congress Catalog Number ahead of time, we added it after the fact, and I have begun shipping orders. Very exciting!! If you are not local, please order through my Etsy shop. Now, in addition to learning about writing and printing, getting an ISBN and an LCCN, I am learning about shipping – what kind of envelopes, labels, and postal options work best. I’m not big on Twitter or Instagram, so Facebook and email are my main social media outlets. If you get the book and want to help promote it, feel free to tweet or insta about it.

I found one layout detail I want to change in the next printing, but otherwise, I think it looks pretty good. If you find any typos or other errors, please let me know, so I can fix them. Each edition will be better than the last, I hope!

Next step: promotion. Teresa Barth and I will be working on promotional mailings to key influencers and media outlets, as well as civic organizations. If you know of an organization I should send it to, let me know.
